Audio Book Nice Buns (Cheap Thrills Series Book 7) with Free MOBI EDITION!

I loved the title and cover of this book. I liked Evie and Alex!!! I liked Evie’s son Cody. The ingenuity and humor very early in the book had me hooked and excited to see how things developed.Then . . . you’re dropped about a year later into a completely different scenario in a different town with no descriptions of the main characters and side characters. Even the names are confusing, like calling the H’s son DB most of the time and then rarely calling him Dave to leave the reader wondering if this was a new character. The book kept skipping ahead in random chunks of time, lots of pages were wasted with inane thoughts/inner dialogue and the huge custody situation with Evie’s ex was never resolved. All this, and no nookie until at least 60% into the story.I just felt sad because most bad books have no irredeemable qualities. In this tale Alex and Evie were great and the humor was excellent, but everything else in Nice Buns was totally blah or a strike against this book/author.
